Clark Park 9

The Parks Department put up a chain link fence with padlock to keep people out of this Gazebo due to vandalism.

Lately there have been a lot of complaints of problems at Everett Parks.

From the timing of the closure of Howarth Park Beach to moms enlisting bikers to take back Clark Park.

What you may not know is that the Everett Parks Department is actively seeking your feedback and input.

They’ve launched an online survey for people who use Everett Parks and are offering a $250 prize to a random person who takes that survey.

In addition to immediate concerns, the Everett Parks Department is working on its long range planning and will be holding a series of community listening sessions to gather input from the public.

Two of these sessions are scheduled for September. The first is Wednesday September 9th from 6:00 – 8:00PM at the south Everett Police precinct at 1121 SE Everett Mall Way. The next will be Monday September 14th at the Everett Station, Weyerhaeuser Room, 3201 Smith Avenue also from 6:00 – 8:00PM.
