Free Skating Sunday at Comcast Arena Everett

It should be a sunny Sunday at Comcast Arena Everett

If you’d like to stretch your legs before you stretch out on the couch for an afternoon of football, Comcast Arena Everett may have just the ticket. A free ticket at that…

Four Millionth Fan Free Skate

Comcast Arena at Everett and the Comcast Community Ice Rink are offering free public skating on both sheets of ice to recognize the attendance of four million fans to events at the facility. On February 5, Comcast Community Ice Rink and the main Arena ice will both be open with free admission from noon to 2 pm.

“It is a huge milestone to welcome the four millionth guest to this great venue. We’d like to celebrate with the entire community and offer this unique opportunity for people of all ages and abilities to skate where the Everett Silvertips, international skating stars, and Disney Princesses have all skated,” stated Kim Bedier, Global Spectrum’s General Manager for Comcast Arena at Everett.

Join some of the Everett Silvertips players, Lincoln the Silvertips mascot, and Snow Plow Sam, the mascot from the National Figure Skating Association for a great time on the ice! Fundamentals of ice skating and hockey will be taught by professional instructors. Skating lessons will be held in the community rink, with hockey lessons offered on the Arena ice. Draws will be held for raffle prizes.

Guests should enter through the Comcast Community Ice Rink (on Broadway). There are a limited number of free rental skates available so guests are asked to bring their own (if they have them).
