Everett Police Seek Public’s Help Finding Woman Reported Missing

Received this email today from Sgt. Robert Goetz from the Everett Police Department asking for the public’s help in locating a woman reported missing…

EVERETT, WA: The Everett Police Department is seeking the public’s help in locating Ms. Meara Lynn Nichols who was reported missing on Tuesday January 31st, 2012. Ms. Nichols’ husband reported her missing telling officers that he hadn’t seen her since Monday morning January 30th at about 6:00 a.m. prior to him leaving for work. Mr. Nichols indicated that he has checked with friends in an attempt to locate his wife. No one he talked to had any information on her potential whereabouts.

Mr. Nichols indicated that his wife does not have a vehicle as the only one they own, he had taken to work with him on Monday. She also left behind many personal belongings at the house to include her purse.

Mr. Nichols allowed detectives to search their home in the 6800 block of Commercial Avenue. Detectives found nothing suspicious at the time. Mr. Nichols also agreed to a polygraph which he passed. Detectives do not consider him a person of interest in Ms. Nichols disappearance.

Ms. Nichols is 33 years old, 5’01” tall, and 110 pounds with hazel eyes and dark brown hair. She also has a pierce lower left lip. She was last seen wearing blue jeans, a black Carhart jacket, black shoes with white souls, black rimmed glasses, and a black baseball cap. A picture of Ms. Nichols is attached.
