Equipment Failure Cut Power In South Everett
The PUD outage map lit up in south Everett Thursday morning.
A piece of equipment failed just before 7:30 this morning causing a power outage that affected about 6000 customers in south Everett.
The outage stretched from Casino Road south to about 112th street SW.
During the outage there was at least one crash at 4th Avenue West and Evergreen Way. One person was transported to Providence Regional Medical Center. Everett Police caution that if traffic lights are out, the entire intersection becomes a 4-way stop. Power was out for about two hours.
