Editors update: Here’s a link to the City of Everett information on the 41st street repaving project.
No more torn pavement and big bumps at Rucker and 41st after Friday night.
A major north-south route through Everett will be closed for repaving Friday evening. Rucker at 41st street will be shut down Friday night between 7:00 PM and 5:00 AM.
Colby will be open through 41st street and there will be signage and police to help with the detour but we thought you’d appreciated the heads-up.
Speaking of Colby, on Tuesday night Colby and 41st street will be shut down but the newly repaved Rucker and 41st will be open as the alternate.
Keep in mind other resurfacing projects are going on in Everett during the good weather. The funding for this comes from that $20.00 extra you pay on your vehicle tab renewal in Everett.
