Brush Fire Threat High In Everett
The threat of brush fires is back for people in Everett and the surrounding area. More and more calls are coming in for brush fires due to the lack of recent rain and high temperatures. This fire along the Lowell-Snohomish River Road appeared to be started by fireworks. Here are a few photos of the crew from Everett Fire Station 4 handling it. Please be extra careful. These things can spread quickly.

This fire was in the 4400 block of Lowell Snohomish River Road.

Engine 4 arrives and prepares to fight the fire.

Additional wildfire hose is brought out

There’s a good amount of pressure going through the hose.

It appears fireworks were to blame.

Fireworks in dry grass directly under high tension power lines is a really bad idea.
