The public is invited to watch but no public testimony will be taken. You can observe in person at the council chambers at 3002 Wetmore in downtown Everett. Also online at The Everett Channel on the city’s website and on cable TV on Comcast Channel 21 and Frontier Channel 28. It will also be taped and replayed throughout the week on Everett TV.
Here’s the agenda for the retreat and the topics the city council will cover…
Goal for the Day This annual retreat provides City Council members with an opportunity to discuss key topics in more depth than is possible at regular City Council meetings.
This year we are looking at three items of great importance to Everett’s residents. We will hear a presentation on each topic, followed by general discussion from the Council. At the end of each discussion, Council members will create a five-point action plan the outlines the ways in which members intend to be engaged and supportive on the initiatives associated with each topic. These plans will be used to guide Council member decisions and actions for the remainder of 2017 and into 2018.
