In addition to a traffic hassle in the area of Mukilteo Boulevard and Seahurst, there is no water for dinnertime prep for about 35 homes near Howarth Park. Here’s the update from Everett Public Works…

Public works crews are at work to replace a broken 6-inch 1954 cast iron water line valve near Howarth Park. No damage has been reported.
To replace the valve, water service to homes must be shut off from the intersection of Olympic and Mukilteo Boulevards to the 4400 block of Ridgemont Drive. The line is expected to be replaced and service restored by 7:30 p.m. tonight. Once water is restored, people are encouraged to run their water until clear and air is released from the line.
