Voting takes place Wednesday from 5am – 6pm.

Dominic Gates, aerospace writer for our news partner The Seattle Times, has a great explanation of what’s at stake for all involved in Wednesday’s vote by the Machinists Union on Boeing’s proposed contract extension. Click here to read his article.

Tuesday afternoon the Mayor of Everett and Snohomish County executive each urged machinists to approve the contract extension. Meanwhile Boeing has posted a website saying why the offer is good for machinists while machinists also have a Vote No website.

Voting will take place at IAM union halls throughout the Puget Sound. In Everett voting will take place between 5am and 6pm at the Machinists Union Hall at 8729 Airport Road. After the voting closes the ballots will be taken to the Seattle Union Hall for the final tally.
