New Year’s Reminders For Everett, Washington
It’s pretty straight forward but here are a few reminders for New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day in Everett, Washington.
Fireworks are illegal in the Everett City limits (including sparklers and sky lanterns)
Don’t call 911 to report illegal use of fireworks, call the non-emergency line at (425) 407-3999 and save 911 for actual fires and emergencies
Have a dedicated driver for those trips if you’ve been drinking or call a ride share service.
Everett Transit is free to ride on New Year’s Eve.
Kitchen fires are common during celebrations. Don’t leave things unattended on the stove.
Monday January 1st is a holiday and most all government offices and services are closed.
Garbage collection and recycling pick up will be one day late all week.
