Editor’s Update Wednesday January 3rd: 4:30 PM: Today the Snohomish County Medical Examiner identified the two people found deceased and advised the following.
SCMEO completed the exam of the 42-year-old female found deceased in a residence near the 2500 blk of Euclid Avenue in Everett, WA on December 29th, 2023. The decedent is Samantha J. Zeine of Everett, WA. COD is gunshot wound. MOD is Homicide.
SCMEO completed the exam of the 47-year-old male found deceased in a residence near the 2500 blk of Euclid Avenue in Everett, WA on 12/29/23. The decedent is Jason T. Hadnot of Whidbey Island, WA. COD is gunshot wound. MOD is Suicide. There are resources available for anyone contemplating suicide. Editor’s Update 9:00 PM: Everett Police advised tonight that two people, a man and woman in their 40s are deceased. An Everett Police spokesperson told MyEverettNews.com there was a shooting but gave no specifics and advised they are still investigating but stated there is no ongoing threat to the public. The Snohomish County Medical Examiner will determine the cause and manner of death as well as the identity of the two deceased.
Everett Police patrol officers and Everett Fire aid crews were called to the scene around 9:15 AM.
At this writing Major Crime Scene Detectives are on scene.
Everett Police tell MyEverettNews.com they do not believe there is any ongoing threat to the public.
No other information is available at this time.
