Man Stabbed, Another Arrested At Angel Of The Winds Arena In Everett, Washington

According to documents filed by Everett Police for probable cause to arrest, the suspect was an employee who reportedly confronted his supervisor about wages. When the employee didn’t like the supervisor’s response, the employee stabbed the supervisor multiple times before being held until police arrived. Police recovered a knife from the suspect who is being held in the Snohomish County Jail on $150,000.00 bond and is expected to make a court appearance this afternoon.
Editor’s update 10:30 PM: MyEverettNews.com was contacted via email this evening by a person who identified himself as a production labor crew supervisor for the staging company and he advised that he was the one who held the suspect until Everett Police arrived, not security for the Arena.

Everett Police took a man in his 60s into custody.

Everett Police arrested a man for suspicion of 1st degree assault for allegedly stabbing another near the back stage area of Angel of the Winds Arena Saturday afternoon.

Shortly after 1:00 PM, workers were reportedly setting up for a concert at the arena when there was a dispute between two men.

One stabbed another. Security employees were able to detain the suspect for Everett Police.

Medics from Everett Fire responded to give aid and transported the victim to Providence Regional Medical Center.

An Everett Police spokesperson said the suspect was in his 60s.

No word yet on the victim but the person’s condition was thought to be stable.

Tonight’s Christmas-Themed show at Angel of the Winds Arena in downtown Everett, Washington will go on with a scheduled start time at 8:00 PM.
