Police in Everett, Washington reported on social media today that one of their officers on a traffic stop spotted brass knuckles near the driver of the car. That led to a whole host of other discoveries. Here’s their post.
Last week, an alert patrol officer stopped a vehicle in South Everett for a traffic violation. The male driver was the only occupant of the vehicle and officers observed brass knuckles, which are classified as a dangerous weapon, on the car seat. The male was arrested for Possession of a Dangerous Weapon.During the search of the male, the following items were discovered on his person:
-196.9 grams of methamphetamine
-76.72 grams of fentanyl powder
-31.66 grams of cocaine
-1,500 M30 (fentanyl) pills
-$1,597
The male, who is an eight-time convicted felon, declined consent to search his vehicle, but admitted there were firearms inside. A search warrant was applied for and granted, and two handguns were found inside the vehicle.
The male was booked into the Snohomish County Jail on 2 counts of Unlawful Possession of a Firearm 1, 4 counts of Possession with Intent to Distribute and 2 counts of Possession a Dangerous Weapon for the brass knuckles.
