A notice from the Washington State Department of Transportation of final striping of the lanes on northbound I-5 from Lowell to the Snohomish River Bridge happens next week:

EVERETT: Lane, ramp closures on northbound I-5 for striping work

We’re starting to put down the permanent striping for the I-5 Lowell Road to Marine View Drive project, which means overnight lane and ramp closures.

Work begins nightly at 8 p.m. starting Monday, July 10, and runs until 6 a.m. the following morning, ending Friday, July 14.

With the right lanes closed, the off-ramp to Marine View Drive will be closed each night. People going into Everett should use the 41st Street or Pacific Avenue exits.

One other note from WSDOT regarding Highway 529 between Marysville and Everett

If you use northbound SR 529 to get onto northbound I-5 at night, on Wednesday, July 12, you’ll need a different route. We need to repair guardrail on ramp, so we need to close it from 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 12, to 4:30 a.m. Thursday, July 13.
We will have a detour in place to guide you through Marysville back to I-5.
