Everett Police Investigating Suspected Fentanyl Overdose Of 2-Year-Old Child

Editor’s Update 12:15 PM: Everett Police say the 2-year-old is expected to be released from the hospital today and appears to be fine. No word on if there is any lasting consequence to the fentanyl exposure. The case remains under investigation.

Everett Police were called about 2:30 PM to a report of a 2-year-old affected by fentanyl.

Police Officers in Everett, Washington have confirmed they are investigating the circumstances surrounding a 2-year-old child who had to be given Narcan multiple times after reportedly being overcome by Fentanyl exposure.

Everett Police were called to an apartment in the 2500 block of Howard Avenue in central Everett about 2:30 PM on Sunday to reports of a 2-year-old who had been given Narcan.

Medics were called to the scene and transported the child to Providence Regional Medical Center.

Today Everett Police confirmed the investigation and say this is an active case. As of this writing at 10:45 AM there is no update to the condition of the child.
