11:45 AM Update from City of Everett on last night’s efforts by Everett Public Works:
Our overnight crew update:
-Saw heavy, wet snowfall from 7 p.m. to 4 a.m.
-Fallen trees and branches blocked traffic lanes. Many cleared. Others in today’s queue.
-780 miles of snow plowed
-95 yards of sand or salt poured
Please clear the roadways for our snowplows and sanders.
10:30 AM Update for Rubatino Customers in Everett:
*SERVICE ALERT* WEDNESDAY – 11/30/22
PLEASE BE SURE ALL EQUIPMENT IS CLEAR OF SNOW FOR SERVICE.
WE ARE RUNNING GARBAGE AND YARD WASTE TRUCKS ON SCHEDULE FOR RESIDENTIAL, COMMERCIAL AND INDUSTRIAL CUSTOMERS.
WE ARE NOT RUNNING ANY RESIDENTIAL RECYCLE TRUCKS FOR TODAY. WE DO PLAN TO TAKE DOUBLE NEXT WEDNESDAY.
Now is the time to make a plan as the first official day of Winter is December 21st.
With 4 – 6 inches of snow on the ground in parts of Everett, Washington in the last 24 hours there are a few impacts this Wednesday morning.
Mukilteo Schools are closed today
Everett Schools are running 2 hours late and busses running on snow routes
Everett Community College opens at noon today, any class scheduled before noon cancelled
WSU Everett opens at noon today, any class scheduled before noon cancelled
Power is out at Forest Park and there is no AM preschool
