It’s Time For Wintertide In Everett, Washington (Sponsored Post)

Wintertide is back bigger than ever in Everett, Washington. It’s not a single event but a celebration of the Holiday Season with something for everyone.

“I’m happy to see Wintertide growing into a beloved tradition for visitors and residents alike to enjoy fun, safe holiday activities while supporting our local small businesses,” said Cassie Franklin, mayor of the City of Everett. “We plan to build upon our event offerings each year, so there will be opportunities for all to experience some holiday magic.”

The City of Everett has developed a Wintertide section of the VisitEverett.com website where you can keep track of literally dozens of opportunities for Holiday fun.

For some events you may want to buy tickets or make reservations ahead of time, while others welcome you to just drop in and enjoy.

Here’s a list of just a few of the events coming for Wintertide.

Santa’s Neighborhood Cruises – On select Thursdays in December Santa will be on an Everett Fire Engine cruising select neighborhoods, stopping and saying hello in designated spots and his Firefighter Elves will be collecting new toys and non-perishable food items for those less fortunate. Downtown Everett Tree Lighting – On Friday November 25th at 5:00PM Santa will arrive with the help of Everett Fire Department and light the Tree at the intersection of Hewitt and Colby in the heart of downtown Everett as well as all of the other festive lights in the downtown area. It’s a great show and there will be cocoa, cookies, photo ops and more. Click here for more details.

The Saturday after Thanksgiving shop small and save big. November 26th come to downtown Everett for amazing gifts, ideas, food and entertainment as Small Business Saturday boosts the visibility and viability of small business owners in downtown.

Back for its third year, Wintertide Lights is free and open 4 to 8 PM every night in December. Come walk the paths of the Evergreen Arboretum and Gardens next to Legion Park at 145 Alverson Boulevard in the north end of the city. Thousands of Holiday lights adorn the grounds turning the gardens into a wonderland of lights. You can even sponsor a lighted tree. Holiday on the Bay will be back at the Port of Everett and bigger than ever before! Mark your calendar for Saturday December 3rd at Pacific Rim Plaza. It’s a full day of fun starting at 11:00AM and going until 7:00PM. There will be a Holiday Market, Food Trucks, Music, Holiday Lights, Tree Lighting with Santa, Lighted Boat Parade, Drive-In Holiday Movies and much more. You don’t have to be a Senior to enjoy the Wintertide Celebration at the Gipson Center. Saturday December 3rd from 10AM – 5PM and Sunday December 4th from 10AM – 3PM. Volunteers of America Western Washington has put together a huge slate of fun activities including Santa photos, holiday makers gift market, live entertainment, bingo and yummy goodies. Sunday December 4th the Everett Farmers Market will be indoors at Angel of the Winds Arena in downtown Everett for a Holiday Festival from 11AM – 5PM. Here’s the link to their website.

The Wintertide Festival & Market is set for Saturday December 10th with over 50 local makers offering unique Holiday gifts. You’ll also enjoy food trucks, a bonfire, free Holiday concerts, the chance to snap a selfie with Santa and more. It’s happening at Wetmore Plaza right across the street from Funko HQ!
