In Spite Of Rain, Dry Conditions And Brush Fires Continue Around Everett

August 8, 2021

Everett Fire

The crew from Engine 2 work on a brush fire Sunday afternoon along southbound I-5 between Pacific and 41st.

While some measurable rain fell in Everett, Washington over this weekend it sadly was not enough to stop the threat of brush fires.

Firefighters with Everett Fire continue to respond to multiple calls for spot fires around the city including at least three different calls on Sunday.

Officials are urging caution and common sense as temperatures are expected to hit the mid ninety degree range by this Friday.
