Having already cancelled train service Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, Sound Transit says the threat of more slides along the tracks between Everett and Seattle led to their decision to keep Sounder trains off the line until Monday the 11th.

MyEverettNews.com took some photos of the conditions along the rail line next to Marine View Drive and on the hillside below Grand Avenue Tuesday morning to get an idea of how things looked.

The tracks were clear and freight trains were moving on the tracks through Everett.

Here’s the bulletin Sound Transit sent out this (Tue) evening.
