No Charges Expected In Death Of Man Hit Crossing Rainier Avenue Saturday Night

The street was closed for two hours as detectives investigated.

The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated.

Today the Snohomish County Medical Examiner identified the person struck and killed while riding a motorized scooter across Rainier Avenue Saturday night as 78-year-old Bradley E. Seat of Everett, Washington. The cause of death was blunt force trauma and his death has been classified as an accident.

Everett Police spokesman Aaron Snell issued the following written statement to MyEverettNews.com. “it does not appear, at this point in the investigation, that any charges are anticipated. It appears the deceased male was mid-block wearing all dark. The female driver was not impaired and did not see the male. She remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.”
