One of the largest expenses in the City of Everett’s budget is public safety and a big portion of that spending is on fire and medical services for the citizens of Everett, So what are you getting for your dollars? One of the best ways to find out is to check out the Annual Report from the Everett Fire Department.
Today the report for 2019 was made public. Here’s the announcement from Fire Chief Dave DeMarco.
A note from Chief DeMarco to our Community, Residents, and Supporters:
“I am pleased to present you with our 2019 Annual Report. It is a little later than usual this year as a result of managing the pandemic, but I”m very proud of the staff for finishing this important work. The performance data is required by law to be reported to the State of Washington. The report offers the added opportunity to highlight the services Everett Fire provided to our Community in 2019.
A special thank you goes to our Fire & EMS Analyst, Cindy, and the city’s Marketing & Graphics Specialist, Kelsie, for the extra work to put all the pieces and parts of the project together in this comprehensive report.”
