Summer at Forest Park is in full swing! After spending the morning meeting all the animals at the Animal Farm, take a short walk to the Swim Center to cool off from the sun. Beginning Wednesday, June 26, children ages 7 and younger are welcome to wade in the outdoor wading pool from noon to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday through Aug. 31. Across the field and adjacent to the park’s main playground, a water playground features 16 interactive fountains and designated tot spray pad from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily through Sept. 22. Benches just out of the spray’s reach and the large adjacent lawns are perfect for drying out.
