Over three days hundreds of cars and thousands of people will move through Everett’s downtown core celebrating all things automotive.
This is the 20th year for the Memorial Day Weekend event that owes its longevity to a small but loyal core of volunteers.
It begins with lots of out of town folks coming in Saturday night filling hotels and packing restaurants. There will be a kickoff party featuring live music at Tony V’s starting at 8 PM.
There is still an option to register on Sunday for the controlled cruise down Colby Avenue. The cars start lining up early with the actual cruise happening between 1 PM and 4 PM.
In addition to the cruise there will be a car audio sound off on Hewitt Avenue in front of Tony V’s just east of Wetmore also from 1 PM ’til 4 PM.
More live music and dancing Sunday night starting at 6 PM at Tony V’s.
Monday brings the official show and shine that opens to the public at 9 AM. (The cars begin filling the downtown streets at 5 AM.) In addition to hundreds of cars, trucks and vehicles of all types there will be more than five dozen vendors, live entertainment, a beer garden and multiple food trucks.
