This is the first year for this event at the Everett Library

The Everett Public Library is running an online fundraiser through Wednesday. Here’s how you can help.

Everett Public Library is raising funds through an inaugural Library Giving Day campaign. This online fundraising event will culminate on Wednesday, April 10, 2019.

Library lovers are encouraged to make a gift to Everett Public Library online anytime between now and April 10th to show their support.

This campaign reminds us that libraries, small and large, serve as a cornerstone for our communities. Library Giving Day is a national event and takes place during National Library Week, an annual celebration highlighting the valuable role libraries play in strengthening communities. Beyond well-loved books, libraries offer innovative programs that promote lifelong learning, connect patrons to technology, and advance knowledge.

Everett Public Library director Abigail Cooley shares, “In 2019, we are remodeling and expanding our Evergreen Branch location. The expansion will offer more social learning opportunities for children, more computers and technology, and more programming and group study rooms. These special services require the generous support of our community members. That’s why we are excited to participate in the first ever Library Giving Day!”
