For those who don’t have Facebook we wanted to pass along this story from the Everett Fire Department Facebook Page.

At about 11:45 this morning Everett Fire responded to a kitchen fire on 77th street SE near Upper Ridge Road. The first arriving unit was able to make a quick stop on the fire.

As trucks were leaving at least one had issues with their chains and had to call for assistance from Public Works.

While waiting for assistance Everett Firefighters spent some time with the neighborhood kids, even adding a little firefighter power to their sledding adventures.
