Not a lot of information yet but Everett Police have confirmed they are investigating a shooting Sunday afternoon in south Everett.

Just before 1:15 PM a man walked into the Rite Aid at 101st and Evergreen Way and told them he had been shot. Medics were called and the man was taken to Providence Regional Medical Center.

Everett Police patrol units blocked off the parking lot and were seen searching for evidence. Aaron Snell from Everett Police tells MyEverettNews.com that Major Crimes Detectives have taken over the case from patrol officers.

At this early point, no further information is available. We’ll pass along updates as they come in.
