Horizon Air Now Accepting Applications For Passenger Service Agents At Paine Field

Things are ramping up at Paine Field in anticipation of commercial flights.

Horizon Airlines this week posted a job listing for Passenger Service Agents on WorkSourceWA. MyEverettNews.com has learned they are looking for both full and part time employees.

All applicants must apply online by midnight Sunday October 21st. Recruiters will go through the job applications and select people for telephone interviews.

The next step after the telephone interview is an invitation to an in-person interview at the end of this month. At the live interview they will make on the spot job offers to candidates they are interested in and initial training will take place in November. Here is the complete job listing.

PAY
The starting hourly wage for this position is $13.05 + performance bonuses, paid holidays, 401k match and generous paid time off!

POSITION INFORMATION – KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
– Provide frontline customer service to our passengers
– Works directly with passengers in ticket purchases, passenger check-in, and flight boarding involving the heavy use of a computer based reservation program (IMAGE)
– Other duties as assigned

HOURS
– This position is for full time hours (30-40 hours per week)

QUALIFICATIONS
– High school diploma or equivalent required
– Minimum age of 18
– Must be authorized to work in the U.S
– Previous customer service experience preferred
– Friendly, knowledgeable and polite in all situations
– Strong diplomacy and teamwork skills
– Keyboard proficiency required
– Excellent oral communication skills
– Strong problem solving skills
– Ability to lift 50 pounds required
– Ability to work flexible schedules to include weekends and holidays required
– Ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced and at times stressful environment
– Ability to perform basic mathematics required
– Bilingual strongly preferred (Spanish/English)
– Regular and predictable attendance required
– Must have a valid Driver’s license at time of hire
