Everett Retail Pot Shops Packed For 420 Friday

Before noon MyEverettNews.com took a quick drive around Everett today and it appears the five retail marijuana shops within the Everett City limits are doing a booming business. One shop even had a line stretching out the door.

Checked in with MyEverettNews.com sponsors Mari Js Highway Pot Shop on 19th SE in south Everett and Bud’s Garage at Everett Avenue and Walnut in north Everett and both were very busy with a big increase in customers and also plans for special events.

In addition to discounting everything in the store 15% Bud’s Garage is sponsoring a free live music show tonight at the Black Lab Gallery at 1618 Hewitt Avenue starting at 6 PM.

Mari J’s is having a DJ, food and various special guest vendors inside and outside the store throughout the day.

The Snohomish County Target Zero Task Force is also marking 420 Day by having extra Troopers, Deputies and Police Officers on the road looking for impaired drivers. They want to remind folks that driving high is impaired driving.
