Car-Pedestrian Crash Shuts Glenwood Avenue

The crash happened about 6:20 PM.
About 6:20 PM Everett Fire and Police responded to a report of a car versus pedestrian crash on Glenwood Avenue.
An elderly pedestrian was struck by a passenger car. The pedestrian was taken by Everett Medic unit to Providence Regional Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
Everett Police traffic detectives were called out and Glenwood was closed in both directions between Seahurst and Kenwood Drive. The driver of the car stayed on scene and was cooperating with police. It was extremely wet and dark in that portion of Glenwood Avenue. No further details were available at the time of this report. The roadway reopened at 7:47 PM.
