Every once in a while MyEverettNews.com likes to update you on restaurant news we come across. Here are a few items of note.

Dennys

Dennys closed at the end of June.

The Denny’s Restaurant at 8417 Evergreen Way has closed and the signs removed from the building.
A sign posted on the door says the restaurant was closed due to circumstances beyond their control but did refer customers to the locations on Pacific or 128th.

restaurants

Curries is now open in the 7300 block of Evergreen Way

Curries has expanded to a second location. They are now operating at 7318 Evergreen Way in addition to their place at 5th and West Casino Road. They specialize in Indian food with vegetarian options.

Prohibition

No word yet on what happens next.

The Prohibition on Hewitt is closed and appears to be under remodeling. There is a huge dumpster our front.

The restaurant had changed into a steakhouse after it was sold last year. Prior to that it is best known as a place where TV Chef Gordon Ramsey did an episode of Kitchen Nightmares and completed a makeover of the restaurant turning it into a gastropub. Not sure what it will become next.

China doll

A new name and owners for the former China Doll

The former China Doll location at Broadway and Wall is now reopened.

It is called Tang Wong and serves Chinese food. The interior has been opened up and it appears they are open for lunch and dinner.
