Boat’s Mechanical Problems Led To Fire At Everett Marina

For Immediate Release: Boat Fire Update – The cause of last night’s fire at the South Everett Marina was determined to be from an occupied boat that was having mechanical problems and caught fire. The primary boat drifted into four other boats, some of which were occupied, extending the fire to those boats. A total of five occupants from the involved boats jumped into the water to escape the fire. Only one person had minor injuries and was treated at the scene.
