Police Investigating Death In Construction Accident Near Snohomish River

Editor’s Update Tuesday 6-27-17 6:30 PM: The Snohomish County Medical examiner has identified the person killed in a construction accident yesterday as 73-year-old Robert L. Fruhling of Las Vegas, NV. The cause of death is blunt force injuries of the head and torso. The manner of death is accident. The accident is under investigation by the Washington State Department of Labor and Industries. Early indications are he was run over by a piece of construction equipment.

At 5:00 PM Everett Police were just starting their investigation.

Everett Police are conducting a death investigation at a construction site at a new home development near the Snohomish River. Everett Police Spokesman Aaron Snell tells MyEverettNews.com investigators are providing expertise but the case will be handled by Washington State Safety Officials. There is no word yet on exactly what happened but one person died at the scene late this afternoon. More information as it becomes available. The site is south east of 41st street.
