Officers from the Regional Drug Task Force outside 1705 Hewitt Thursday night.
We received some calls about lots of police activity on Hewitt Avenue in Everett Thursday night. Officers from the
Snohomish Regional Drug and Gang Task Force were serving a search warrant on a business/residence at 1705 Hewitt Avenue.
According to probable cause arrest paperwork obtained by MyEverettNews.com, 15 grams of heroin and 5 grams of meth were found in the underwear of one person associated with the address.
Inside the bedroom of a residence at the store a detective wrote that they found 273 grams of methamphetamine and 78 grams of heroin along with numerous digital scales. The value of the drugs is believed to be in excess of twenty thousand dollars.
One person was arrested and an Everett District Court judge on Friday found probable cause for the arrest. Prosecutors did not ask for any bail and the person was released on their own personal recognizance. Because there were no charges MyEverettNews.com is not naming the person. We’ll follow up if formal charges are filed.
