Shots Fired At Everett Home

1:00 AM 12/18/2016 Update #2: The person in the house on Sound Avenue has left the house and been detained by Everett Police. While Everett Patrol Officers initially contained the scene the Region 1 SWAT Team was called in. They surrounded the house while a negotiator spoke with the person inside. He came out on his own. Detectives will now take over to determine the circumstances around the report of shots fired and exactly what happened. Another update is not expected for several hours.

11:00 PM Update 1: Everett Police are talking with a person in a house where reportedly shots were fired. The home is on Sound Avenue in west Everett. People in the neighborhood have been asked to stay in their homes and away from the area. The situation began around 10:00 PM. At this time there is no other information available.
