Watchful Neighbors Spot Garage Fire

A garage fire behind a vacant house in the 2100 block of Hoyt was spotted by neighbors who called the Everett Fire Department. The calls came in just before 6:00 PM.
A quick stop was made by firefighters and damage was limited. An Everett fire investigator is looking into the cause of the fire.
Neighbors tell MyEverettNews.com they’ve been chasing squatters out of the garage and empty house over the last several months.
