Everett Police begin their investigation after a baby was found in a trash compactor Friday night.

Everett Police are still asking for the public’s help in locating the mother of a newborn infant found in a garbage crusher behind the Mirabella Apartments Friday night. Everett Police Spokesman Aaron Snell tells MyEverettNews.com they still want people to call their tip line at 425-257-8450 with any information on who put the baby in the dumpster. It may be someone from the apartment or someone from out of the area who decided to use that garbage crusher. The newborn is expected to survive and is being cared for at Providence Regional Medical Center in Everett.
