Everett City Council

4 positions are on the ballot this general election.

In an effort to keep you informed about happenings on the Everett City Council, MyEverettNews.com invited all of the candidates appearing on the November 3rd general election ballot for city council positions to submit 400 words on why you should vote for them.

The are four Everett City Council positions on the ballot this year. Positions 4, 5 and 6 are contested and position 7 is uncontested. We received responses from five of the seven candidates on the ballot and they are now posted here on our website.

We also asked all of them to respond to a question submitted by one of our readers.

General election ballots went out in the mail on Thursday and should be landing on Everett mail boxes this weekend. The ballot must be postmarked by Tuesday November 3rd in order to be valid. If you don’t want to mail it, you can drop your ballot off at the bin in front of the Snohomish County Courthouse at the intersection of Wall and Rockefeller in downtown Everett.

You can also take your ballot inside the auditor’s office at the county administration building. If you prefer to vote on a machine or are visually impaired and would like to vote an audio ballot you can also do that in person at the auditor’s office.

Most questions about voting in Snohomish County can be answered here on the Snohomish County Auditor’s website.
