Shake Roof No Match For Fire Sunday South Of Everett
Smoke and flames were coming from the shake roof when firefighters arrived.

Crews from Everett Station 5 were first on the scene providing Mutual Aid.
The roof was completely destroyed.
The fire was about 100 yards south of the Everett city limits.
A fire Sunday afternoon on the Lowell-Larimer Road about 100 yards south of the Everett city limits engulfed the shake roof of a home. No one was injured and the neighbors managed to save a dog but the house was heavily damaged. Crews from Everett Station Five were first on the scene providing Mutual Aid to District 4 out of Snohomish. Neighbors on both sides of the house used garden hoses on the fire until a water supply could be established. Here are some MyEverettNews.com photos of the scene. Click to enlarge.
