The combination of a tree into power lines in the 6700 block of Larimer Road and a short circuit in the PUD substation at 52nd street has left a bunch of people in the dark this morning. Larimer road was shut down after a tree brought down live wires. Traffic was diverted at the 5600 block of Larimer on the Everett side and Snohomish Fire was blocking Larimer in the county. Traffic signals on Broadway were dark at 52nd street, 41st street and 39th while PUD crews re-routed power at the substation. About 1200 customers were affected according to Snohomish PUD.
