POLICE BLOTTER – November 1, 2014
Suspicious persons working door-to-door in Everett

A group of four are working the Everett area claiming to be independent sales contractors for Kirby Vacuums. The group consists of one female and three males using a 1993 maroon Ford van for transportation. None are licensed by the City of Everett to sell door-to-door. It is suspected that this group may be getting into homes under the guise of door-to-door vacuum cleaner sales and casing the homes for later burglaries.

-On 10/28 at about 7:00p in the 2100 block of E. Grand Ave, the group was inside a residence. The residence was later burglarized.
-On 11/01 at about 6:30p in the 2400 block of 7th St, the female member of this group was inside a residence when a disturbance occurred. A homeowner told the female to leave but she refused and even asked for some food. The homeowner eventually forced her to leave.
-On 11/01 at about 8:00p in the 700 block of Waverly Ave, officers investigated a report of suspicious people outside a home and contacted the group.

Stay safe – be alert! Call 911 if you are contacted by this group.
