Judy Tuohy looks to be on her way to replacing appointee Rich Anderson on the Everett City Council.

While Rich Anderson may have been appointed to the seat, it looks like Judy Tuohy is the choice of Everett voters for Everett City Council Position 7. With the first batch of ballots in, Tuohy has 5307 votes to Anderson’s 3909. That’s a lead of 15% and a big hurdle for Anderson to overcome. There will be another ballot count released at 5:00pm tonight. Initial returns show other incumbents in the Everett area doing well as John Lovick will remain County Executive, Ty Trenary Sheriff, Mark Roe Prosecutor, Rick Larsen 2nd District Congressman and Dave Aldrich as PUD Commissioner.
