Templeman Swearing in

Dan Templeman takes the oath of office as Everett’s newest police chief.

In front of a packed Everett City Council Chambers this afternoon, Dan Templeman was sworn in as Police Chief for the City of Everett. Born and raised in Lake Stevens, he began his career with the Everett Police Department in 1992 and has worked patrol, special investigations, general investigations, training and administrative services. Most recently Templeman served as Deputy Chief of Operations, responsible for Everett Police Patrol work citywide, including Tactical and Marine Operations, Anti-Crime Teams, Traffic Safety, Customer Service, Code Compliance, Bomb Squad, and the Special Operations Group. Templeman replaces Kathy Atwood who retired earlier this month after serving the past three years as EPD Chief.
