Mukilteo School District Offering Free Meals to Kids in South Everett This Summer

Kids near several Mukilteo Schools in south Everett can get free meals this summer.

The Mukilteo School District will sponsor a summer food program that will provide meals and snacks free of charge for children 18 years of age and younger. No proof of income, address or citizenship is required. No pre-registration or sign-up is needed. Each child is eligible for one breakfast and one lunch each day.

Meals will be provided at the sites listed below at the following times:

HORIZON ELEMENTARY (222 W. Casino Road in Everett) – Program runs from June 23 to August 22. Breakfast served from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m., Monday through Friday. Lunch served from 11:15 a.m. to 1 p.m., Monday through Friday.

ODYSSEY ELEMENTARY (13025 – 17th Ave. W in Everett) – Program runs from July 7 through August 22. Breakfast served from 7:45 a.m. to 8:45 a.m., Monday through Friday. Lunch served from 11:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m., Monday through Friday.

VOYAGER MIDDLE SCHOOL (11711 – 4th Ave. W in Everett) –Breakfast served from 8:15 a.m. to 9:15 a.m., Monday through Friday, from July 7 through August 22. Lunch served from 11:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m., Monday through Friday, from June 23 through August 22.

DISCOVERY ELEMENTARY (11700 Meridian Ave. in Everett) – Program runs from July 7 through August 1. Lunch served from 11:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m., Monday through Friday.

No free meal service will be available on Friday, July 4 in observance of Independence Day.
