More Than 300 Youth Participate on MLK Day of Service in Everett

More than 300 youth volunteers (a 20% increase over last year) and 50+ adult volunteers worked on 20 projects in Everett and Snohomish County today in a day of service to honor the memory of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. “This annual day of service is a partnership between United Way, the Y of Snohomish County, Catholic Community Services and Senior Corps-RSVP.” Said Dennis G. Smith, president and CEO of United Way of Snohomish County. “We look forward to this event every year, and are so pleased with this year’s results.”
