10:30pm Update: Everett Police Major Crime Detectives are working the scene around the Sunrise Motor Inn behind Denny’s at 8400 Evergreen. Everett Police officers and SCSO at possible suspect location at apartments south of Everett. One person detained. No real details expected for several hours as investigation is still in early stages. Unknown if there are still outstanding suspects or not. EPD Spokesman Aaron Snell will issue update when he has more detailed information.

9:00pm Update: Everett Police have confirmed that the person shot behind Denny’s in south Everett has died.

Everett Police have confirmed they are investigating a report of a person shot behind the Denny’s Restaurant at 8400 Evergreen Way. Everett Police Spokesman Aaron Snell says police received a call around 8:30pm. More information as it becomes available.
