Fire crews battled the blaze on August 6th, 2011

Back in August of 2011, Everett Floral was put out of business after a teen arsonist lit their building on fire. This Thursday will mark the 1st Valentine’s Day since that blaze. For owners Cindy and Ernie Frederickson it has been a long road back. “We barely got open in time for Mother’s Day last year and Valentine’s Day is the number one local holiday for us,” said Cindy. “We hope people remember we’re back.” Frederickson went on to tell me that it’s an intricate dance making sure that they can get orders filled and delivered to the right place at the right time. The shop is taking orders for delivery right now and will continue to do that through Valentine’s morning. They’ll also be keeping the doors open late for walk-in customers and Cindy promises to stay open until the last sweetheart is served. MyEverettNews.com has donated the ad on the right in an effort to help the Frederickson’s thru the Holiday. Click on that ad to visit their website.
