PUD: Equipment Malfunction Led to Everett Power Outage Wednesday Morning
14,000 people losing power this morning. The power went out around 9:30am and most customers were back in service by 10:40am with just a handful of businesses in the area around 38th and Broadway still in the dark. “We had a transformer on a fairly large pole down by the stadium that had a fuse blow and that’s essentially what it sounds like the problem was,” said Neroutsos. Snohomish County PUD was able to re-route power to most of the customers affected and will now look at fixing the pole where the fuse went out.
