A 25’x25′ brush fire was quickly extingushed by Everett Firefighters from the crew of Engine 2 this afternoon. No word on the cause of the blaze. A second fire was also reported along the side of I-5 near the sewage lagoons but that was also quickly handled. Troopers are reminding people that there’s a big fine for tossing any burning materials, including cigarette butts, out of your car.
