Coho Derby and Silvertips Tailgating, Must Be Fall in Everett

Silvertips Hockey tailgatorsEverett Coho Derby

People in Everett know that summer is over and fall is here when they see two things. The annual Coho Derby at the Port of Everett and Silvertips hockey fans tailgating across from Comcast Arena at Everett . I couldn’t resist taking pictures of both on this first great weekend of Fall in Everett, WA. According to a volunteer at the Coho Derby more than 1800 adult tickets and 220 kids tickets were issued to participants from all over Washington State. On Saturday, they recorded 788 Fish and with lines that were stretching around the Port of Everett offices, it looks like there were more than that many fish coming in today. You can click here for the results.
The Everett Silvertips lost their home opener last night but their fans didn’t seem too down on the team as they prepared for their first tailgate of the year. You can click here for more pictures of both events. Looks like it really is Fall in Everett.
