KIRO Radio Tour Stop Coming to Everett Thursday Night

Dave, Dori, Ron and Don and John Curley are coming to Everett tomorrow night

If you’ve ever wanted to see what “those guys on the radio” look like, KIRO Radio is bringing all of its hosts to Everett for what it calls a tour stop tomorrow night. Here are the details direct from KIRO…

The KIRO Radio personality line-up is heading north to Everett for the KIRO Radio On Tour “The In-Person Experience,” the second of three tour stops, for a performance on June 7, 2012 at the Everett Performing Arts Center.
Each tour stop features an intimate “Behind-the-Scenes” experience and entertaining conversation with KIRO Radio hosts, producers, reporters and anchors in front of a loyal KIRO Radio audience. The program features all the show team members including: Seattle’s Morning News, Ross & Burbank, Dori Monson Show; Ron & Don Show and John Curley Show.

All the proceeds from the $10 ticket will benefit The Fisher House Foundation, which constructs homes to provide free, temporary housing to the families of service members receiving medical care at Veterans Affairs and military hospitals around the world. The campaign will help fund construction of a second larger Fisher House at Joint Base Lewis-McChord — the largest military base on the West Coast.
The first KIRO Radio Tour event on May 16, in Tacoma, raised $15,500 for the Fisher House campaign.

“The fans in Tacoma were so warm and welcoming that all of the KIRO Radio personalities are excited to meet their listeners in Everett and Bellevue, share behind-the-scenes stories and raise some money for a really special charity,” said Larry Gifford, Program Director for 97.3 KIRO FM. Bonneville Seattle Media Group, in coordination with the Seattle Seahawks, Seattle Mariners and sponsors, recently launched a public awareness campaign to help raise funds for the construction of a sorely needed second Fisher House location at Joint Base Lewis-McChord in Tacoma. The Everett show is sponsored by local Lynnwood Honda, who will be launching a fundraising campaign for Fisher House beginning in June. The KIRO Radio Tour concludes at the Meydenbauer Center in Bellevue on June 20, 2012.
